The Shaz Balti opened in March 2002 and now provides some competition for the overpriced and overrated Balti Massala in Holmes Chapel.
It is a takeaway only establishment and is open 6 evenings a week, and is located right next to the Station, virtually on the car park.
On the occasion of this visit, we ordered a variety of food including Onion Bhaji, Sheek Kebab, Chicken Tikka Masalla, Lamb Madras, Chicken Korma, Rice and Nan Breads.
The curries were hot and the meat and sauce content was plentiful. The Nan breads were large and freshly cooked and the rice was fragrant and aromatic.
In conclusion, a welcome addition and will use it again (and again and again!)
