The Rowley Village10 Portway Road We decided to have a take away and were presented with a very good menu to choose from.
We straight away noticd some things we had never heard of before so always on the look out
for new experiences we went for them. Mixed vegetable aur kasuri methi. I expected the fenugreek leaves to stand out in this dish but they were a bit lost amongst the other flavours. Still quite good though. Vegetable aur garlic, the garlic was quite pronounced, I suspect there was garlic pickle in it. Good for those garlic freaks. Chicken korma, I know this isn't out of the ordinairy but we had to try something we
could rate it against. The korma was very creamy and sweet, a little too sweet for one
person to eat a whole dishful. Price £23 for 4 take aways (not bad), overall rating 8/10. I want to give this another visit as there are many more dishes on the menu I haven't
tried. Also when I was waiting for the food the waiter brought out some weird looking
sweets (I presume they were sweets). I think this may warrant a 9/10 but I will reserve
judgement for the timebeing. The Gay Gourmet & George |
