I spotted an article in the local press for this award winning restaurant so though it must be worth a visit. Despite the restaurant being in a grotty area the inside of the restaurant is quite pleasant and the staff are fine, although I wouldn't go there when the pubs are shut!

We decided to have a take away and were presented with a very good menu to choose from. We straight away noticd some things we had never heard of before so always on the look out for new experiences we went for them.

Mixed vegetable shatkora, lightly spiced and cooked with a fruit that comes from the sylhet region of Bangladesh giving a unique, sour flavour taste. This was quite different, it tasted of oranges. Certainly worth a try.

Mixed vegetable aur kasuri methi. I expected the fenugreek leaves to stand out in this dish but they were a bit lost amongst the other flavours. Still quite good though.

Vegetable aur garlic, the garlic was quite pronounced, I suspect there was garlic pickle in it. Good for those garlic freaks.

Chicken korma, I know this isn't out of the ordinairy but we had to try something we could rate it against. The korma was very creamy and sweet, a little too sweet for one person to eat a whole dishful.

The rice and nans were good.

The only problem with the above which was our fault not the restaurants was choosing 3 vegetable dishes, they all looked the same so it was a bit boring texture wise. Although they looked the same they didn't taste the same.

Price £23 for 4 take aways (not bad), overall rating 8/10.

I want to give this another visit as there are many more dishes on the menu I haven't tried. Also when I was waiting for the food the waiter brought out some weird looking sweets (I presume they were sweets). I think this may warrant a 9/10 but I will reserve judgement for the timebeing.
