Dingo's Restaurant & Brasserie4-6, Great Cornbow You will need a good appetite when you go to Dingo's. We pigged out on 'A Fishy Affair' which is a fish and seafood starter for 2 which comes with prawns and mussels in garlic butter plus scampi, whitebait and calamari and loads of fresh bread. We were full after that!! For the main course George had lemon sole with new potatoes and salad while I had the tuna steak which was as big as your outstretched hand and about an inch to an inch a half thick. We were completely stuffed. We were too full to have a sweet but the pancake with banana, rum and raisin and pina colada ice cream looked enticing. Adrian the proprietor warns you on the menu that everything is cooked fresh so takes that bit longer. When we went there were only 6 others in and the service was good, however be warned we have been on a Saturday night when they were busier and the service was very slow. At £35 for 2 it is expensive but you are paying for quality ingredients. Overall rating - recommended The Gay Gourmet |
