The Bengal Balti has for some time been one of George and my favourites. The helpings are always generous and the food is always prepared and presented well.
The onion bhajis are a real favourite of mine although the last time we went I tried the vegetable samosas, and wished I had stuck with the bhajis, as they were a bit bland in comparison.
I also went for something different for the main course. I tried the vegetable jalibhuna masala, which the menu said was fairly hot - it didn't lie!! It was a very tasty dish complimented well by the garlic nan.
George had a chicken and chana dish which I'm told was also very good. The portion was large as George couldn't finish all the dish and only managed a third of a nan. Greedy git shouldn't have had a starter!
I can also recommend the dhansaks.
At £22 for two, it is very good value. Overall rating good.
