Potatoes, Sauteed with Garlic & BasilThis is a very simple and tasty recipe. Vary the amount of onion, garlic and basil according to your own preferences. The amounts below should be to most palates. 1 kg cooked Potatoes (either baked or boiled) Peel and slice or cube the cooked potatoes. About 1 cm slices or slightly larger cubes is about right. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan or wok and add the garlic, onion and potatoes. Fry until the potatoes are a golden brown and slightly crispy at the edges. Season with salt and ground black pepper, finish with the chopped basil and serve while hot. |
