Review of "1nfusion" Vodka Pomegranate and Blueberry drinkReview of "1nfusion" Vodka Pomegranate and Blueberry drinkUpon opening this vodka mix drink I was hit immediately by the fruity smell. I then took a proper "sniff" and was pleased that although it was obviously alcoholic, the dominant fragrance was still fruity! First sip - Very refreshing with a nice bite to it. Aftertaste strangely tasted like the cough sweets known as "winter nips" though. As a long drink - maybe a little sweet for some but just right for me. Overall verdict - Would be a lovely drink to have on a very sunny day sitting in the garden soaking up the rays. Nicely fizzy and really quenches your thirst. Add a slice of orange and a straw and you have a lovely summer treat!!! Yummy!! Score 7/10 Kathryn Melkuhn 25Jun09 P.S. I did actually try a little taste, and was pleasantly surprised: there was no hint of "artificial flavour" about the drink. Indeed, 1nfusion (sic) are keen to point out that no additives or preservatives are used, and fresh fruits are used. It isn't too strong (4% abv) and was faintly reminiscent of Campari and Soda in terms of it's appeal. It's not something I'd go out and buy, but I wouldn't turn it down if offered it at a BBQ! The bottle has its alcoholic content, in "Units", clearly marked: 1 unit for the 250ml bottle. I suppose in this day and age, this is a laudable effort to help people enjoy a drink without going overboard. Sandro | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
