A guidebook called Tip-top Fish and Chip Shops, containing details of 100 fish and chip shops, is due to be launched on 28 March 2002.

The book, written by Tony Mudd, features fish and chip shops from all over England and includes a tremendous 65 Sea Fish Industry Authority (Seafish) Quality Award holding shops.

As well as containing the author's favourite fish and chip shops, Tip Top Fish and Chips contains recommendations from the public. Furthermore, the publishers hope to obtain more suggestions from the public for a second edition of the book, which will hopefully feature shops from Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
