Seafish announces second exclusive promotion for Quality Award holders

The Sea Fish Industry Authority together with Irn Bru and Odeon Cinemas are giving Quality Award holding fish and chip shops the opportunity to ‘award’ their customers via an exclusive competition.

The promotion, which is only open to friers holding the Seafish Quality Award, consists of a scratchcard, which the customer can obtain from participating fish and chips shops. On revealing matching symbols the customer can win prizes such as cans of the popular soft drink - Irn Bru - and Odeon cinema tickets, with one lucky customer winning the top prize of a luxury holiday!

Mike Platt, Seafish Regional Quality Adviser says, “Competitions with popular prizes such as cinema tickets, soft drinks and holidays are a great incentive to get customers into fish and chip shops. Seafish are actively trying to give friers who hold the Quality Award additional benefits for joining the scheme. So as well as QA holders’ customers knowing that they are buying top quality fish and chips, customers will get the added bonus of winning some fantastic prizes.”

The competition will run in January 2001 and follows the highly successful Blackpool Pleasure Beach two-for-one ticket offer that took place in May of this year.
