Our database covers restaurants, cafe bars, bistros, brasseries and the traditional British pub. Sometimes restaurants are a bit difficult to classify, so for example, if you can't find what you are looking for under French, Italian or whatever, then try under Cafe Bars and Bistros. Also many restaurants don't fall into a particular ethnic type of classification and so they are currently listed under Traditional / Pub. However we don't think that is really satisfactory and we will reclassify these, possibly as International, to differentiate between them and the more traditional Pub that also serves food.

Using the search facility above you can search by either Restaurant Type within Region or by Town, which will return all restaurants listed within that town.

In either case you can choose to return either all restaurants within our database or just those restaurants that have a review.
